Michael graduated from Granada Hills High School, received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and completed his graduate training in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2000.

     Michael worked for Orlin and Cohen Orthopedic Associates, first as a physical therapy aid and later as a physical therapist. In this role, he was responsible for the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic diagnoses. In 2002, he became the Director of Physical Therapy and co-owner of Healthtech Associates in Merrick, NY before opening Bellmore Physical Therapy with his wife Kelly the following year.

     Michael has maintained an interest in the care of injured athletes and has participated in recreational sports leagues around Long Island. Michael’s experience in different practices and extensive training and experience in sports injuries provides the level of knowledge patients need to recover from sports injuries. As an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, he has instructed and supervised physical therapy students.

     Michael resides with his wife and three sons in Bellmore, NY
